This is a fun and informative read written by Matt who is also a contributing editor for Rolling Stone. In this book Matt recounts his firsthand knowledge of some of the groups that influence the country today. The path of legislation in Congress, the Military, the 9/11 Truth Movement, and a politically influential apocalyptic mega church in Texas. His knowledge comes from direct involvement and or undercover work within these movements and how radicalized a growing portion of Americans really are.
The book is smart and even a little scary when you realize how many Americals have gone so far over to the fringes they have lost touch with reality. It is also hysterical when he confronts some of the “truthers” and their hysterical refusal to accept facts.
It was one of those books I looked forward to reading and wished it was longer.
