This is another great book for those of us interested in religion. This a journey back in time to the present and shows us the pattern in the evolution of Judaism and Christianity. How did the current belief in God come to be? What are the subtle changes over time that came to be know as the present day diety? Can there is a reconsiliation between science and religion? Wright takes us on this journey using archeology, theology, evolutionary psychology, and history for a view like no other.
As with science and everything else, the concept of God or gods was not the same then as it is now. Who knows what God will be in the future.
