1. David Icke’s Reptilian Overlords
Well as far as conspiracy theories go, this one is so far out there I am having a hard time writing about this with a straight face. Actually, as I was reading about all of the many variations and versions of this wild theory I was laughing so hard tears were coming to my eyes.
Ok, brace yourself, here it is. Apparently there is a widespread conspiracy which insists that the U.S.government and major companies are actually run by a large a population of alien reptilian beings called Reptoids (apparently that's the best they could come up with.) There is a vast worldwide underground network of bases where these reptilians live and operate from. They speak English and disguise themselves as human by shape-shifting so that they can lead double lives as one of us. Some believe these humanoid reptiles have been here all along running things (perhaps they read the sci fi book called "West of Eden," and some believe they are actiually extraterrestrial. Some believe that the Reptoids also use Mt Shasta as an entrance to one of their underground bases. (I think it might get a little crowded though with the Lemurians living there also) I personally feel that anyone who believes this fairytale needs to be locked up.
Apparently the Reptoids are the sworn enemies of the gray aliens and may help us defeat them. Apparently 18,000 grays aliens are living and working in a large underground base in Dulce, New Mexico provided by the U.S. government and are performing genetic experiments on human beings. Reptilians have reportedly been caught trying to get information about the Dulce Base.
Now, I don't know about you but, if all of the UFO hunters and conspiracy theorists want me to believe them, show me a damn humanoid reptilian that talks English. Hell, I am sure if one shows up on the Letterman Show doing an interview about trying to fight the gray aliens, we will ALL believe. But, unless you can show me something beside a grainy photoshopped image or have more than some eyewitness accounts of people who belong in a mental ward, I'm not buying it.
Writer David Ickes, who in my opinion needs medication, states that there is a worldwide conspiracy directed at manipulation and control of humanity. He contends that most of the world's leaders are in fact related to 7-foot tall, blood-drinking, reptilians from the star system Alpha Draconis, in the constellation Draco.
Christine Fitzgerald, in an interview with Icke, claims that she was a confidante of Diana, Princess of Wales, and that Diana told her that the British Royal Family were reptilian aliens, and that they could shapeshift. Icke also claims that many presidents of the United States have been and are reptilian humanoids. In his view, United States foreign policy after September 11 is the product of a reptilian conspiracy to enslave humanity, with George W. Bush as a servant of the reptilians.
Wow! There is nothing that really needs to be said to disprove this, it is such a blatant product of a sick and demented mind I am surprised he is not in a straight jacket. What is really scary it that he writes and sells lots of books on this and other fantasy theories. Many people believe him and you have to wonder, are there really that many insane people walking among us? Yep, I guess there are.
